The Patagonia Durable Down Hoody brings together technical mountain performance and workwear toughness. This midweight down hoody is built for climbing trips and backcountry days that demand durability, warmth and low weight – and it’s light enough to wear while belaying.

The shell is a lighter version of the high-tensile Ultra-PE ripstop used in Patagonia’s Steel Forge work jackets: 98% recycled nylon / 2% recycled polyester, windproof and water-repellent thanks to a PFAS-free DWR finish. Insulation is 700-fill-power recycled down, backed by synthetic insulation at the cuffs and underarms, where moisture gets in first.

Interrupted quilting keeps the down in place, while a lighter, soft lining reduces bulk and improves packability. The hood with elastic binding adjusts with a single pull.
